I was selling my late fathers property (probate sale) and I lived out of state so I was definitely not the easiest client but Tama made everything incredibly easy, understandable, and straightforward. This was also my first time selling property but she always made sure I understood what my obligations were and what I was signing. She also helped me take care of some things on the property that were required for sale since I lived out of state. I felt like she was a great partner through the whole process and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Yvette is the bomb!
We met her years ago when we first started looking in Middletown and she was very patient with our endless questions and indecisiveness. We circled back this past summer with interest in another property and she was so warm and welcoming. We ended up making an offer and getting literally the home of our dreams. Our most recent transaction was the sale of our home. She understands the area and really made the buying and selling process smooth in good markets and in challenging markets. I highly recommend her with no reservations at all!
We contacted Kimberly shortly after a divorce settlement required that the family home be sold and the proceeds of the sale were to be divided but the issue was the ex-wife refused to leave the house and our family law attorney had no idea what to do.
We even went to the sheriff's office and all they could tell us was that we needed an EJ130 in order to get the ex removed but they would not tell us what was needed to get one. Even the courts couldn't offer any assistance. That's when we reached out to Kimberly with NextHome in October 2024. Instead of running away from the fire she jumped in with both feet! Kimberly was able to get us in touch with some free legal advice and they filled out the EJ130 for us which we got to out family law office. By the end of January 2025 we had the sheriff remove the ex from the property and it was as you would expect, quite a mess. Kimberly was there when the ex was removed so she could view the property and open the listing. Kimberly was able to get the resources to us to have the house emptied out and cleaned up within two weeks. By the third week of April of 2025 the house closed and the burden of the house was finally removed from us! We cannot say enough about how grateful we are for Kimberly and NextHomes other than to say that we own one other property and we would use no one other than NextHomes for the sale of this property as well!! It took 4 years, but the results were my parents home finally sold.
This was a journey of multitude escrow that fell out of contract for various reason. One reason was due to a toxic spill, which Yvette remained calm, supportive and competent during the year long process of the cleanup process. Another cancelled escrow was due a completed pest inspection reflected a estimated cost of over $30,000! Yvette again showed her ability to handled adversity by ordering another pest inspection, which resulted in a estimated cost of $7,500. Yvette’s overall calmness, knowledge of the market and recommendations were invaluable, which resulted in finalizing a sale. Thank you Yvette during this interesting journey. - Jim
